These terms cover your use of this website. Project work is covered by its own written proposal.
What this website is
This website shows our work and explains how we work. It is general information, not advice for your business. If you act on something you read here without talking to us first, that decision is yours.
Projects
Nothing on this site is an offer to contract. Work begins when we have both signed a written proposal setting out the scope, the price and the timescale. If that proposal and this page ever disagree, the proposal wins.
The prices on the Pricing page are starting prices. Your written proposal sets the final price for your project.
The work on this site
Some projects are visual explorations we made ourselves rather than commissioned work, and their pages say so. The names and logos of the companies we have worked with belong to those companies.
Intellectual property
The writing, images, case studies and page designs on this site belong to us, except where the work belongs to a client. You may quote from the site if you credit us and link back. You may not reproduce the artwork or copy whole pages.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they contain.
Liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, because the law does not allow it. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data arising from your use of this website.
Liability for project work is set out in the contract for that project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
