What we collect when you get in touch, why we keep it, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted.
Who we are
Colrosa Studios is Colrosa Studios Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16810244, at Carpenter House, Broad Quay, Bath, BA1 1UD. We are the data controller for everything described on this page.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address and what you write about your project. The form asks for nothing else.
If you book a call, we collect your name, your email address, the time you chose and anything you tell us about your company or project.
If you email us directly, we keep that email and anything in it.
We use Framer’s built-in analytics to count visits. It shows us totals, such as page views and which sites sent visitors. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to you. If we work together, we also use them to run the project: proposals, invoices and the work itself.
Our lawful basis for enquiries is legitimate interest: you asked us something and we are answering. For clients it is performance of a contract. For invoices and tax records it is legal obligation.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell them to anyone.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. That is why you have not been asked to accept any.
Who else sees it
Framer hosts this website. It receives what you send through the contact form and keeps the standard server records any host keeps. Cal.com runs our booking calendar and holds the details of each call you book. Vercel runs the small service that connects that calendar to this site. Each of them receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not pass your details to advertisers or data brokers.
If you become a client, we keep your project, invoices and the messages we exchange in our studio system, which runs on Supabase. We send invoices through Xero, our accounting software, and email through Microsoft 365 and Resend. Each of them receives only what it needs to do its job.
Framer is based in the Netherlands. Cal.com and Vercel are based in the United States, so your booking details may be handled outside the UK. Each provider’s data processing agreement includes the safeguards UK law requires for those transfers.
How long we keep it
We delete enquiries that don’t lead to work after twelve months. We keep client records for six years, because HMRC requires it. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, object to it, or have it sent to you in a portable format. Write to colrosa@colrosastudios.com and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we also say what changed.
